Savory Green Cabbage and Chicken Pie

This Green Cabbage and Chicken Pie takes a little work, but it is worth the effort. You cannot feel the taste of the cabbage and together with the chicken and spices it gets a new flavor.

    • 1/2 head of cabbage - sliced thin (can be done with a food processor

    • 1 chopped onion

    • 1/4 cup olive oil

    • 1 1/2 lbs. ground * chicken or beef (any meat will work)

    • 1/2 bunch of parsley

    • 5 cloves of garlic

    • 5 eggs

    • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cumin

Heat the oven to 350F. Grease a baking pan.

Sautee the onions until golden. Add the chicken or meat and cook thoroughly. Add the cabbage and continue sautéing until the cabbage is completely tender stirring occasionally. Add parsley, minced garlic cloves and the spices to taste.

In a separate bowl mix 5 eggs. Incorporate the cabbage and chicken mixture with the eggs.

Place all the mixture in a baking pan and bake for 45 minutes.
