Keto - Kale Shake - Claim back your health!


Kale is one of the most nutrient vegetables on earth.  One cup of raw kale contains Vitamins A, K (one of the best sources in the world - remember "K" for Kale!),  C, B6, Manganese, Calcium, Copper, Potassium and Magnesium. Another important fact is that kale helps lower cholesterol and this is a good thing in reducing cardiovascular disease. In short, kale is very high in nutrients and it is important to add it to you diet. This shake is full of good stuff. It can help you consume the 8 cups of vegetables a day - if you cannot eat the vegetables - drink them. I like the touch of lemon - it changes the entire flavor.

    • 1 cup of fresh cut kale

    • 1 cup of fresh spinach

    • 1 peeled and seeded lemon cut into chuncks

    • 1 cucumber sliced into small pieces

    • 1 stalk of celery cut into small pieces

    • 1/4 tsp. salt

    • 1 tsp. wheat grass

    • 1 tsp. nutritional yeast

    • 2 cups of cold water

Combine all the ingredients into a blender. Let it blend for at least 2 minutes so everything is chopped smoothly. If you need, add more water for a runnier consistency. Enjoy thinking about how healthy this is. (I cannot say that it taste too good - for a better flavor you can add 1/2 of strawberries, but I prefer not to).
